What is the difference between an SME and a Private Viewer?

Subject Matter Experts (SME's) are the persons in your team that make and watch videos of operational observations, memories and procedures that are important to them. Viewers are persons who don't make videos but from time to time login and watch videos. For example managers and new employees typically do not capture expert knowledge. Over the last eight years OpCon has learned that a 3:1 to 6:1 ratio of Viewers to SME's is required for sucessful use of video as a collaboration tool in the corporate enviroment.

What if I run out of videos in my plan?

For each three months that you subscribe you get one bonus video per SME. So the longer your SME's use the service the more videos (on the job memories) they can capture with their KnowledgeCAMs (pens). You can also purchase addtional videos.

What is a KnowledgePoint?

KnowledgePoints are Key Documents that include written procedures, check-lists, manuals, FAQs, Lessons Learned and other documents that script or support what is in the SME's video.

What if I run out of KnowledgePoints in my plan?

For each three months that you subscribe you get five bonus KnowledgePoints per SME.
